Tycho is on a roll!! At the UKC shows in New Jersey at the end of September, he won Reserve BIMBS under Marilyn O’Neil on Saturday and then went on to BIMBS under Tina Camp on Sunday. Photo to follow…
Meanwhile, Bugsy became a Grand Champion and Nitro also won a group 1st under Marilyn O’Neal. Skye finished her UKC championship as did our little Bijou – at just 6 months of age!!! Wow, what a weekend! So now we are proud to present:

Eddie went to his last weekend of shows in the US before traveling back to his native Finland. At the Alaskan Klee Kai Association of America shows in Carlisle he won his second BIMBS and two Group 1sts.

This last weekend, at the Alaskan Klee Kai Association of America shows in Carlisle, PA, Tycho won his second BIMBS under judge Jeanne Heger after Tina Camp gave him the breed and group win, also becoming a Grand Champion. Thanks so much for thinking so highly of our boy. He is now:
MULTI-BIMBS U-GRCH AM/CAN CH SAMALJANKAN I’M THE ONE AT NYRAKYM
Bugsy also did well, winning breed and a Group 2 over the weekend. As did the puppies – first time out and Bijou won Best Puppy in Fun Match and also won Winners Female & BOW under Tina Camp!

Last weekend Tycho won his first BIMBS at a UKC show down in Maryland!! Way to go, Tycho!! Our first home-bred “BIS” winning Malamute!

At the Garden State Kennel Club shows this last weekend, Eddie won reserve Best In Multi Breed Show on Saturday and then went on to win Best In Multi Breed Show on Sunday!! He also became a UKC champion. He is now known as
International Champion
Finnish, Estonian, Norwegian, Russian, Latvian, Canadian, American and UKC Champion
Finnish Junior Winner 2004
Estonian Winner 2005 and 2006
Baltic Winner 2006 and 2007
Nordic Winner 2007
Multiple BEST IN SHOW Winner, BIMBS Winner and RBIMBS Winner
Only slightly lesser achievements over the weekend included gaining UKC Championships on Nitro, Tycho and Star! We now have 5 UKC champions, M and Eddie as well as:

Over the July 4th weekend we took a trip up to the province of Quebec, in Canada, to the Chateauguay Valley Kennel Club shows. 4 shows in two days. On the first day Tycho finished his Canadian Championship with two BOB wins, a Group 4 and a Group 3! What a way to finish. The following day he won BOB at both shows and made the cut in the group once. Please welcome:

Solo - BISS (left) with BOS (right) & judge
We just heard that Solo (AM/CAN/FIN CH BIS BISS FinW-07 Dasha Lucerne’s Solo Act) won BOB at the Finnish Samoyed Club’s National Specialty with 133 dogs entered. The breed judge was Rafael Garcia from Spain, a long-time breeder and FCI judge (Villaodon kennels). A huge thanks to the judge for thinking so highly of our boy & to Elise & Heidi Lehtinen in Finland for doing such a great job with him.

We went for a short road-trip to Maryland over the weekend for our first try at UKC shows. We entered 4 malamutes, Eddie and Nitro. We had a blast and the folks were all very friendly. By the end of the weekend we had amassed 2 group1st wins, 3 group 2nd wins and a Group3rd PLUS a new champion!

Eddie went back up to Canada to get his last two points to finish and straight out of the gates – he does it again!! So Eddie is now:
