BIMBS #2 for both Tycho and Eddie

The weekend of 18th – 20th September we went to the Alaskan Klee Kai Association of America shows in Carlisle, PA. It was a lovely site, great company and we & the dogs had fun.
Eddie the Sammy won two Group 1s and his second BIMBS; Tycho won a Group 1 and his second BIMBS and became a UKC Grand Champion!

After a break for the summer (all dogs out of coat & it was way hot in August!!), we went to a UKC show the last week of August. We now have another UKC champion – Vega:

We also won our second UKC Best In Multi Breed Show, this time with Tycho!!

This last weekend we went down to our second set of UKC shows. We had an absolute blast & the dogs outdid themselves.
First off, Eddie, Nitro, Tycho and Star all became UKC champions. This was Star’s first weekend of UKC shows and she showed her socks off, winning breed 3 times and getting a leg towards her Grand Champion title! Vega also gathered a few more wins to help her towards her UKC championship.
Things got even better when Eddie won first Reserve Best In Multi Breed Show on Saturday morning & then he won Best In Multi Breed Show on Sunday morning!! Wow! After all that showing in the morning both days, he was pretty pooped by the afternoon shows (and it was hot and muggy!) – he’s not a young guy any more! But we are so proud of the boy – he did really well. The photos will be put up as soon as I get them…
On Saturday evening there was a little puppy match that we put our two young guys in. Bijou showed what she was made of & caught the judges eye, winning best puppy! Yay, Bijou!!

We took a trip back up North to Quebec over the July 4th weekend to try to get Tycho &/or Bugsy finished up in Canada. We took the motorhome & made a weekend out of it and had a wonderful time meeting up with old friends – we do miss you guys. We also reached one goal by finishing Tycho easily on the first day with back-to-back BOB wins and a Group 4 then a Group 3! Many thanks to Charles Cyopik & Fred Heal for these great wins! Tycho is now known as:
AM/CAN CH SAMALJANKAN’S I’M THE ONE AT NYRAKYM
Once Tycho was finished, Bugsy got a look in and won 4 more points by winning Winners Dog & then BOW on Sunday.
In the meanwhile, the white fluffy dog (Eddie) excelled by winning two Group 3s and a Group 4 over the weekend. Way to go Eddie!
Solo wins BISS in Finland!!

On 13th June 2009 Solo won BISS at the Finnish Samoyed’s Club Show over an entry of 133 Sammies. The judge was FCI breeder judge Rafael Garcia from Madrid, Spain of Villaodon Kennels (Samoyeds since 1986). That now makes Solo:

At the Monmouth County show today, Bugsy got his first major!! He won Winners Dog & Best of Winners under Canadian judge Dr. John Reeve Newson. Show photo to follow!
