MULTI-BIMBS U-GRCH AM/CAN CH SAMALJANKAN'S I'M THE ONE AT NYRAKYMborn: 5th March 2008Tycho was another singleton from a frozen AI breeding. this time he was out of Skye bred to a lovely young red boy in California - Hunter (Am Ch Alcan Master of the Hunt). He is a very sweet-natured boy & is developing very nicely. Even though Tycho is only one year old he has been doing very well in the shows. After just two weekends of shows in Canada he was half way to his champoinship, while in the US he finished easily at 13 months of age with three majors (all with Best of Winners). At the AMCA Regional & National Specialties in Washington State in 2008 he won hotly contested 6-9 month puppy classes at both shows and placed in the sweeps and futurity classes. With his show wins covering only the last 3 months of the year, Tycho was AMCA's #1 puppy for the NY/NJ area and #6 puppy nationwide (AMCA stats) in 2008 (following in his mommy's footsteps)! In 2009 a quick trip back up to Canada secured his Canadian championship with back-to-back group placements! At UKC shows, he finished his championship in just 2 weekends, also winning a couple of Group 1s and in August 2009, at 17 months old, he won his first BI(MB)S, closely followed by 2 more and a Reserve BIMBS as well as becoming a Grand Champion and #1 UKC Alaskan Malamute for 2009. In 2010, Tycho continues his winning ways with BIMBS and reserve BIMBS wins at UKC shows, an AKC Group 2 win, points towards his AKC Grand Champion title as well as being the #1 Class Dog (AMCA stats) in the USA!
